Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Dr Sugandha Kumar. I have been working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for over 20 years, and I provide specialist Obstetrics, Gynaecology and fertility services in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.
I am dedicated to offering the highest level of care and expertise to you and your family. I can look after my patients from their fertility journey to pregnancy care and for any gynaecological issues. I am committed to providing supportive and informed care to women of all ages and backgrounds.
Your goal may be a VBAC (vaginal birth after Caesarean section) or an elective Caesarean section, medical management of a Gynaecological issue or a Laparoscopic surgery – I endeavour to partner with you in achieving your goal in a safe manner. I am passionate about minimally invasive surgery, as it provides enormous benefits including faster recovery, less pain and minimal scarring. The alternative is open surgery, which I offer for special circumstances, such as suspicion of cancer.
